Gather your questions and ideas and schedule a virtual
meeting with our lead designer, Robin Burnett.

 

 

RBD’s Design Sessions are 50-minute virtual design consultations via Zoom that are an opportunity for anyone to be advised on their current design projects.


Step 1: Gather all of your questions, ideas and photos.

Step 2: Reserve a date and pay for your session via our online scheduler.

Step 3: Answer our questionnaire about your project and submit any necessary files to Robin so she can understand the scope of your project.

Step 4: Meet Robin virtually on Zoom to go over all the details of your project!


Things We’ll Want to Know About You:

  • What are your needs, preferences, budget and lifestyle? Do you have kids or pets?

  • Do you have architectural plans available? We can help you with a floor plan, furniture placement and we’ll help you determine the most functional way to design your space.

  • What is your style and what type of architectural elements does your home have? Is it newly built or historic?

  • What are you drawn to and what’s your goal? Do you have a Pinterest board of ideas you can share with us?

  • Color assistance

  • Paint finishes and wall treatments

  • Furniture, art and accessory selection and placement

  • Drapery and window treatments

  • Plumbing and appliance selection

  • Lighting fixture selection and electrical plan

  • Floor material selection

  • Furniture plans and functionality

  • Stores and brands to consider

  • Styling (art, accessories, tabletops, shelving, bedding, etc.)

  • Construction and remodel ideas

  • Cabinetry and built-ins

  • Exterior design

  • Cost estimations and timeline expectations

Interior design advice is given via online video and does not encompass the client’s entire needs for their specified project. Robin Burnett Design does not provide precise mockups or deliverables, nor does she contact vendors or other companies for products or services. Design Sessions serves as a finite informative conversation with a knowledgeable interiors specialist with expertise in construction and decoration.

Meeting Limitations:

Robin Burnett Design does not provide exact measurements or CAD renderings. We do not oversee any construction or installations, nor do we contact any vendors, contractors or specialists on behalf of the client. Clients may submit their questions and topics to cover prior to their meeting but any contact or conversation prior to or after the consultation will not be feasible. You may add any extra questions you like during your meeting. If you run out of time during your meeting to cover all of your questions and concerns we encourage you to schedule another design session with Robin or consider hiring her full-time for your project.


Guests:

Design Sessions are limited to one household per meeting. Any other desires such as including contractors, architects or landscapers must be requested through Robin’s team via email or phone call. If the client finds their virtual meeting helpful and productive they may hire Robin as their interior designer with a required retainer fee.


Cancellation and rescheduling policy:

Upon booking your virtual meeting, you will receive confirmation and appointment reminder notifications via the email that you submitted. We require that if re-scheduling is necessary then you must do so 48 hours before your meeting. If you miss your meeting without cancelling or rescheduling before 48 hours then you will be charged in full for your reserved time. 


Trade Pricing: 

Currently we do not offer trade pricing with Design Sessions. Clients who hire Robin Burnett Design as their full service designer will receive trade pricing benefits.
